IWAM

The Inner West Artist Market (IWAM) is run by Artist Made and is often held at artist-run spaces on Gadigal Country, around the Inner West of Eora/Sydney.

IWAM provides a platform for creatives who share the inner west vibe, but not necessarily the postcodes. We welcome all types of visual and tactile practitioners, conscious creators and DIY makers. Hobby and emerging artists sit alongside established and professional stall holders.

Autumn | 4pm – 9pm Fri 24 Mar 2023
Winter | 10am – 4pm Sat 3 Jun 2023
Spring | 12pm – 6pm Sun 15 Oct* 2023
Summer | 10am – 4pm Sat 16 Dec 2023

HOW

Come and have a stall at IWAM!

We email the IWAM Artist List two months before each market. This email includes venue and stall holder fee info with an application link. We offer a range of fees, opportunities and options so that all types of artists can participate.

    This will also add you to the AM mailing list
  2. Keep an eye out for an IWAM email in your inbox
  3. Apply for the Market!
  4. If successful, you’ll need to pay the stall fees and arrange your insurance about a month before the Market date.

*Please note that the Spring Market is held in partnership with the Inner West Council, and the Council will be managing applications and payments. Read more here.

Stallholder Fees

Each event will list stall holder fees prior to the application window.

The fees can differ to each market however there is always a choice of a full or half sized stall, plus table hire.

First Nations, refugee and community stall holders are offered half price fees.

Insurance

Stallholder Insurance is a thing! You must be covered for the entirety of the event, including set up and pack down, and supply a Certificate of Currency.

Timing

You can sign up to the Artist List anytime.

Each Market is announced 2-3 months in advance.

An Invite to Apply will be sent to the Artist List 2 months before the Market.

Stalls are confirmed (paid and locked in) 1 month before the Market.

The Artist List is your direct connection to market and stallholder opportunities! Only those on the Artist List will receive the Invite to Apply to each market.

Do I Have To Be From The Inner West To Have A Stall?

Nope! It’s all about the vibe. If you get a buzz from walking down King St, love a back laneway or glean inspiration in an op shop, then it’s likely you share that arty weirdo energy.
